I used to be a State of Florida Probation & Parole Officer. Now I teach high school deep in the inner city. It's almost like I never left the department. Great preparation it was! My best students are those on probation. It really helps to motivate them when they realize that I KNOW what to do if they cut up or don't perform.
Nothing like a weekend in JAIL to straighten out a kid's attitude!
