If you need the same caliber and all pls if money is no object get a M-14 built as a dedicated lng range rifle and buy a M1A SOCOM model. So even the mags will swap
Myself I'd dumpt the same ammo idea and have a good bolt action and an AR variant; most likely and M-4 type.
