What!?! NO, my opinion is the only one!

Just kidding, I almost bought an 870 when I bought my Mossberg. I was under the impression that some military uses Mossbergs, I heard they tested higher in mud/muck tests than any other shotguns, and that was one of the deciding factors, but then again, I may be a few beers short of a six pack!

In any case, I look at it this way--if either were a bad choice, there would be no discussion on the merits of either. It comes down to feel, price, and function. Good call either way, and by far the most fearsome HD weapon that I know of, well, short of the government surplus Flamethrower I'm hoping Santa brings for Christmas this year! hard to conceal, but OH so effective!
