Shoulder Holster

As noted earlier, the strap that secures the "cocked and locked" 1911in the shoulder holster also acts as a "block" between hammer and firing pin.

I have a Galco Miami Classic that I wore most of today with a 3.5" Para OPS .45. I find it quite comfortable as the configuration spreads the weight out across my back. I'm not big on snaps; but it is obviously necessary on a horizontal holster.

If you decide on a new Galco, get in touch with me.
