Chris17404,
Whichever mag-style you decide to go with, make sure the manufacturer specifies that it is made specifically for the Sig P239.
The P239 has a distinct bump or bulge near the top front of the mag which is unique to it, so any mag pouch just made for a single-stack 9mm may or may not work.
The same holds true for HK P7M8 mags. The M8 mag has a cut-out extension in the front which catches the mag-release. A track has to be molded into the pouch specifically for the M8. If you use it in a regular single-stack 9mm pouch you'll be scraping leather and pulling out little leather fibers each time you draw the mag.
Many manufacturers do not mold their mag-pouches to a specific mag, but just use one mold for single-stack 9mm, one for double-stack 9mm, etc. and stamp them as such rather than to a specific make/model. This is perfectly fine unless you have one of the two pistols mentioned.
