I have an Eotech on mine and plan on buying a low power scope as well. For general self defense purposes or SHTF I would use the Eotech, BUT at the range when I am paper target shooting (for the sake of killing paper, not "training"), I like the idea of having a low power scope to help my less than perfect eyesight. Generally I can shoot out to 100 yards accurately but if I want to go further just for fun, the Eotech is not much help. The ideal setup is pretty much dictated by the individual and how/what he is shooting at the moment. Nobody is ever always right. Especially for someone else....
