Unless you have to manuver the rifle in tight quarters such as a vehicle there is no practical reason to go with a collapsable stock , and weapon ergonomics do seem to suffer a bit .
That being said ... LOL The ar platform is pretty much a " barbi for big boys " so dress the little sucker up anyway that suits you , if you dont like it well then put a whole different suit of clothes on it . LOL
