The holster shown in the link is essentially a belly band. I have one of these, and while it is a great idea in theory, the problem I had when I tried it was the discomfort of having an elasticized strap around my middle. I suppose with determination one could become accustomed to it - some women wear girdles and support hose, which are probably similar in feel. But I just couldn't get comfortable with it on, and was constantly aware of it. It is also a little on the warm side in summer weather.

The device will also tend to slip downward, if your chest is larger in diameter than your waist. I suppose if you have a large waist it wouldn't do this.

I think each person would have to try one for awhile to see if he found it adequate for his own situation.
