Try>>> 52.0grs./H4198/Hornady 350gr. round nose outta that BFR ---I DARE YA !!
Hahaha! Sounds ''fruity''!!

Don't ever use 4198 so screwed on that! My cuurent stock loads with 45-70 are, for BFR, 41.5 grains Rel7 shoving a 405 Lasercast. For the Ruger #1 rifle I stoke up a bit - currently using same bullet and with 52 grains 3031 (near compressed charge). Has a sorta ''zing'' to it - but once the 3031 is used I will switch to Rel7 for that - probably about 49 grains.

Tho BFR will take stiff loads there is a sorta optimal point where comfort and accuracy reach a sorta level ground - I think I am close to it.

The BFR round is probably a bit plus on 30,000 pressure but the Ruger #1 is almost certainly gettin' into the top 35,000 area.
