I used to carry a .44 special in a fanny pack, but have decided to "upgrade" my method of carry, and change my carry firearm. After extensive research, I decided to go with this setup:
Kimber Eclipse Pro II
1.5 inch belts from The Beltman.

Andrews Leather (
http://www.andrewsleather.com/) - MacDaniel II Crossdraw with Thumbreak option. The crossdraw is basically a normal MacDaniel II for strongside carry but with the capability of moving the belt loop snap for cross draw carry. Also, for those long road trips, got the Carjacker Crossdraw as well. The Carjacker is supposed to be easily removed from the belt, so if I'm carrying strongside, I can use the Carjacker while driving, and since the MacDaniel has a steel hardtop I should be able to re-holster before leaving the car.
No pics yet as I'm still in Korea for the time being....once I return to the states in about a month, I'll post some pics.
After testing this rig out for a bit, I'll return to this thread and post a review as to how it all turned out.
