I've got to agree with Bowie, the reinforced mouth is the main difference, the MAX CON V also sits lower in the waist band, the VM II rides a little higher for the reinforced mouth to clear the wasit band.

I have two VM IIs that I like a whole lot, one for a 5" 1911, and one for my Sig 220.

If I was going for more concealment I would go with the MC V.

Eventually I will get one, (MC V) for a smaller gun for deeper concealment.

Some will argure that with a full size auto you will want as much concealment you can get, but I haven't had a problem with the VMII as of yet.
