I recently picked up a H&K P2000 and needed to find a good OWB holster for it. My favorite owb holster is the Alessi CQC/S (I own a few for various other guns). I prefer this design over the traditional pancake. But was looking for something similar that would arrive before winter was over. Wound up ordering a Fist #2 holster.

Website said estimated delivery time of 3 to 5 weeks. I ordered it on Aug. 19 and it arrived yesterday. I ordered it in Cordovan, it appears very dark, almost black. At first glance, it looks like a well crafted holster. Fist does make some nice looking holsters. The holster had the perfect amount of retention and did not require any significant break-in. As you can see from the pictures, there are a few differences between the #2 and the Alessi CQC/S (G19). I'd like to point them out:
A) The Fist does not have the extra piece of leather at the opening, though at this time one-hand reholstering does not appear to be a problem. The Fist appears to be slightly thinner at the holster opening and covers more of the gun slide.
B) The snap loops are positioned lower on the Fist than on the Alessi. Therefore, the gun tends to ride higher in the Fist than in the Alessi.
C) The snap loops on the Alessi are more spread out. Both holsters pull the gun in well, but I would say the Alessi does a little better job. The Fist appears to have a little more cant to it.
Overall, I am extremely pleased with the Fist holster. It is a great holster for $73 bucks that can be had in a reasonable time . For an extra $10, you can buy adapters to convert the holster over to IWB. I didn't buy them, so I can't comment on how well that works. Just thought I'd share. Thanks!
