I agree in theory, but here's the kicker. Where I work, I absolutely
cannot carry. End of discussion. It's a dismissal-worthy offense if anyone does (and yes, I checked). So that means that I would have to "transfer" the gun from my body to somewhere in the car when I arrive at work, then do the reverse when leaving or going to lunch. You also have to deal with those instances when someone decides to walk up and shoot the bull with you as you're arriving, and that sort of thing.
So on-body carry in my daily routine would be extremely inconvenient.
