Interesting concept - I am thinking tho, if you had a regular 32 ounce (large) cup anyways - and if the ''grip'' of the cupholder rubber bits was enough - then just ''park'' the snub inside that, with the lid not clipped on.
Then the lid could be brushed off and hand straight in to grab with cup staying in place. My truck cupholders are low down and so it'd be quite easy - have to give it a try!
