I have one PS2 IWB, two cowboy rigs, and three double-thick dress belts from mernickle. I've wore one of his paddles, and my bro's have a couple of the PS6's.
That said - He's a great guy who runs a great business and the holsters are very well made - not at all designed like everyone else's which shows that he's really thought out how a holster is supposed to work and perform. Retention and presentation are nicely balanced.
Criticisms - I think the PS2 is just a little 'thick' for a carry holster and in general I'm not sure that concealment is really his market - that said I carry a Kahr in his PS2 all the time w/o any trouble.
Regarding your specific holster - High rides are made for only one reason - that is so when you wear a gun with a five or six inch barrel it doesn't get pushed upwards when you sit down. An unintended plus for high rides is that if you have an 'inner tube' you can wear a high-ride easier than a low ride. If your weight is relatively normal and you will be carrying a gun with a four or three inch barrel then high ride probably isn't a great choice, it isn't as concealable, it is more prone to wiggling because the center of gravity is high. I can see how zero cant would be necessary for your 2:00 position ...
As an aside I'd love to read more posts about appendix carry ...
