this may invite dissent but the Para SSP
functionally fine, but like all standard 1911s:
- doggone heavy to carry
- few rounds per mag
- complicated to safe and un-safe
- limited as single action
- difficult to strip and clean (c'mon, a bushing wrench??)
got an XD-45 with the more-or-less mag set
same caliber
lighter to carry
more rounds
always on, never fiddle with 'em safeties
revolver-simple action
piece of cake to clean
