+1 for Taurus 92. JUNK!
Sadly, I also had a very nice Springfield 1911 that had some real nice work done on it. I bought it from an IPSC salesman, who convinced me that I was a complete and total nin-com-poop for not having a 1911. I remember when I first held it thinking, "Well, it doesn't fit my hand all that well..." After I got it, I started having the local Smith do work on it. A year and $1000 later, it still didn't fit my hand all that well. Imagine that... Sold it, and good riddence. Perfect reliability, and in someone else's hand, very accurate. I just couldn't hold the darn thing.
Currently shooting the XD-45 and the M&P9c, and loving both.
