I was lucky enough (due to my recent neck injury) to have listened to the opening arguments in their entirety. My sister, who is an attorney is special legal counsel for the Democrat contingent of the ways and means committee was one of a handful of government lawyers allowed to sit in and hear the arguments in person. About 10 minutes after the arguments concluded she sent me a text on her blackberry, and I do quote:
"Congrats, dear brother. I think your side made the better argument today; I guess my husband will be getting his DC license to pack heat after all"
Her husband is a republican lobbyist who represents the NRA........
Talk about a match made in heaven....
