Field and Stream

Field and Stream Magazine represents hunters who support gun control. Their chief editor wrote a piece defending Zumbo's statement that black rifles should be completely outlawed and have no place in decent society. In other words, my guns are ok but your guns are a menace. I was honestly shocked by how frankly and forthrightly they expressed views straight out of the Brady playbook.

Outdoor Life may very well be in the same boat as Field n' Stream - but at least they feared the backlash and fired Zumbo and made a number of PR crafted statements regarding their support for the 2A. Field n' Stream, of course, made no such statements in support of the 2A, but spoke firmly in support of outlawing some types of guns.

The whole thing with Jim Zumbo was enlightening because is showed the rift between traditional 'hunters' and the 'self defense' community. From that incident we learned who believes in the 2A and who does not.
