The C-clips work great for me. They hold tight and do not pop-up or ride up on the belt as some have experienced. I am sitting in my recliner with it on right now. No complaints. I have a decent belt, 5.11 1.5" black dress belt, nothing special made (soon oh mighty belt-man,i keep putting it off
) and it works for me. With my arms at my side, the tops of the clips are covered, so there is just a little lip at the bottom visible with my shirt tucked in. I clip my cell phone at the first clip, so it is virtually invisible and I don't care about the rear clip. I will be buying a new kydex as soon as I pull the trigger on a new XD, and I will definitely be buying the standard clips, the longer skinny ones.
I need to get some new pics w/ the 5.11 on...The belt in this pic is a 1.25" belt.
