I did a bunch of research on both before I settled on the MTAC. I am very pleased with it. It is my EDC holster.
I do not see any advantage in the above picture to the C clips as far as concealability. In fact, it appears to make them more noticeable. I have worn my standard clips with a dress shirt and nobody has ever said anything...but then again, who would think I was carrying.

I talked with Tucker's rep. IIRC Tucker and MTAC were working together when MTAC decided to split off and produce their own. Created some bad blood. According to the rep, Tucker still makes a version of it and is ostensively a quantum leap better in quality. I have one on order but it is 5 months out. My MTAC was delivered within a week.
