Here is a vintage Bianchi Clam Shell Shoulder Holster Rig - Can be used for either Right or Left hand side carry.
It is minus the harness straps.
Also has belt loop slots on both sides so that it can be used for OWB carry in a pinch.
It features two rectangular openings inside that perfectly "house" the revolver cylinder in addition to the Spring shell retention.
So it's quite secure the revolver will not fall out.
It holds the revolver securely and one only needs to tug on the wheel gun to have it in hand. No retention strap is necessary.
Fits J-Frame Snubs and clone revolvers.
Reholstering is a slight PITA and so it's a holster that is really intended for carry to have the revolver quickly at the ready and not intended for constant drawing and reholstering.
And....(shameless plug) it is for sale in Members Buy, Sell, Trade at a very reasonable price since I pretty much always carry a semi-auto in .45 these days.
