Thats great, but there is a huge difference between training and qualification, like the course posted already. I doubt you will ever find a complete training outline for an L.E. agency, its just one of those things that shouldnt be public knowledge. Some are great, most are pathetic.
Anyway, there are tons of great courses you can take to gain skills needed. Pick one close to home and ask here, I'm sure somebody will have something to say about it before you drop your cash.
Latching on to an LEO might be a good thing, but good luck with that. Finding one that is both willing and able might be a bit of a pipe dream.
I'm sod to say that most LEO might know how to qualify, but their pistol craft outright sucks. A SWAT or narcotics team member will be better, but there are a lot of them that are train wrecks too.
