I just purchased a single stage E2DL, and am EXTREMELY pleased with it. The beam is creamy white and offers superb color rendition, and the output is phenomenal - the TIR optic provides a strong center spot and a good usable spillbeam. I was originally shying away from the E2DL after Surefire announced the change from single 120 lumen stage to the two stage 5/120, but when I heard from the folks on
CPF that some vendors got shipments of the single stage, I just had to jump on it. I've already got multimode lights covered with my Fenix P3D and wanted something strictly for defensive carry (no pun intended!).
