Honestly the rifles that come fracrory iron sighted are somewhat rare anymore and can run from the cheap end of the savage scout thro the high end of the styer scout with its pop ups . Almost any rifle can wear a set of irons with a bit of work , for instance my pre 64 mod 70 win wears a receiver peep and the factory ramp . all are worthless if it has scope mounts , but take the mounts off and i have a pre zeroed rifle . My savage scout is equipped with a cheap no practical adjustment , no name ghost ring sight that goes on the back of the receiver bridge much like a rear scope mount . it works . My ar has a flat top that enables me to put irons on with an optic and " co witness " . that works too . I guess my point is that if you want irons on a rifle , well you can do that , however if you buy some rifles you will buy both a front and a back to do it . other rifles you only buy a back ( if needed ) after your choice of scope mount . Rarely can you have an " either or " situation that works well .
