what a fun thread, sob is really out of favor with many people. I also would not typically choose it. Mostly because of weapon retention techniques. I know everyone says, "I don't let anyone get that close to me". Still if you are at some large event, you do not always have a say about how much personal space you can maintain. I would say my other reason is that if I have to fend someone off in the middle of a situation, I would no like to put a hand behind my back at the beginning of said confrontation.
