Your "test" mirrors what I have found with this ammo.
I don't want to buy 200 Rounds of CorBon to "test" this ammo, so I carry this load in my 1911 as it's cheap enough that I can "test" it's functioning in my guns and while not the greatest ammo, it will get the job done.
