I bought a brand new Kimber Pro CDPII several months ago and had the same bad experience described by Limatunes. If it had not cost over a 1000 bucks I would have tossed it in the Ohio River, I was so mad. From the VERY first round it had problems. Yes, I stripped it, lubed it (with Shooters Choice, the Kimber recommended lub), etc etc. Called tech support, etc. Now, about 700 rounds later. Still unreliable. Better than it was when brand new, but still has failure to feed. When I drop the slide to feed a fresh round with a new mag., the slide does not close all the way and needs to be pushed "home" by my thumb. Man.
The gun is all beauty and no brawn.
