sounds perfectly normal to me. I'm light sleeper and noises in the night wake me right up.
Had a wake up call on the 4th we came home from visiting the Inlaws
it was late and as we pulled up to the house my wife says the wrong lights are on in the house, slowly pulled in the drive and peaked though a couple of windows saw nothing and then the dog went off but he was in the garage not in his pen where he sleeps RED ALERT
pull my gun and open the garage door to release the dog into the house but he stayed with me, that's odd he does not like strangers and would normally bark his head off I open the door to the house and the alarm system was off.
Sent the dog in the house he ran to the back door to go outside to take care of bussiness really strange. I listen for a minute heard nothing and the cat came walking down the hall like he owns the place.
Now I want call 911 but hate to bother the police on the 4th of july they are busy with all the illegal firework shooters. Called the alarm company instead to inquire about the system status and any triggered sensors they said none had been triggered for several hours same time we left. so I start clearing each room found nothing call the wife to come in and then realized that our son was last one out of the house and he has been away at college for several months and has forgotten the routine we have a laugh and I really wish I had not quite smoking.
So no you sound normal to me.
