Update

I've seen a post elsewhere from someone claiming to have received their SR9 back after the recall work. No pics or other reports to corroborate.

The person stated their entire slide was replaced, but that was for another defect. The key thing is he states his new trigger is like a Glock/XD trigger, with the safety bit on the trigger itself.

Not sure how I feel about that.

The owner also stated that on dry fire, his trigger felt less gritty, but a little heavier.

I definitely don't like that, as my trigger was never gritty to begin with, and my trigger pull is already heavier than I'd like.

This person's gun was already at Ruger for other work, so hopefully, those who've had their guns in with Ruger already are starting to get their SR9's back.
