I have tried out an IWB holster that has a single belt clip and plan on returning it. After struggling to find a location that felt safe and comfortable I have come to the conclusion that my body structure and this form of IWB holster are not compatible. I just could not find a location that felt comfortable standing and sitting. Also, I had problems with the holster moving around (slanting forward and backwards). Further, trying to tuck in my shirt and adjust the holster was just scary (one time the holster tumbled over and the PM 9 would have dropped out had it not had a snug fit - yes I was practicing unloaded). I guess I need to work on getting my stomach and luv handles down! This was my first try at an IWB holster and was, for me, a most frustrating and disappointing experience.
I was going to try something like the Crossbreed, but now wonder if I will have the same problem? It has two belt clips so it should be more stable. For those non-flat-belly and more mature wearers, do you have any problems sitting down? How do you safely get the holster on and the shirt tucked in without everything falling out?
Not meaning to be indelicate, but how does one handle the weapon if one must sit on a toilet?
I know Crossbreed/MTAC have generous return policies, but I hate having to return things ...
Any advice, please.
Thanks
Mike
