You have the wrong SOB holster, first thing.
Check out Fist holsters...through the 'Related Links' above.

I use to types of Fist holsters, both IWB...the #1A (with a body protector), and a comfortable SOB/IWB...#41...this SOB is a 'palm out' draw.
I use the #41 SOB for several of my 45's...and when I take my Glock-36 on my Harley, I hardly know the gun is there. I can sit, stand, walk, and even lay on the couch...the gun disappears.
I also know several other friends who use the same holster with the same success. The palm out draw keeps the weapon's grip over my kidney. I wear it at 5 o'clock, not directly over the spine. Worn with an open shirt, it's any easy draw...the wind blows the shirt off the hip, no gun can be seen...perfect!
The Fist SOB #41, is the holster that I find the MOST comfortable of all my holsters.
