I have several Galco holsters as well as several custom holsters and I repectfully disagree that they "don't hold a candle" to custom made. The Galco holsters I use are well made, sturdy, fit very well, ride as comfortable or better than my custom holsters. My daily carry gun goes into a Galco (Concealable), as well as my previous CCW (Fletch), that have given years of trouble free use.
There are many quality holsters on the market and finding exactly what you want may take you to any number of them. In my many years of carrying the only holster to have really disappointed me was a Don Hume...partly for personal reasons. There may be reasons to go with another holster maker other than Galco, but quality isn't one of them.
