Hey everyone,
I'm new here and hope I don't offend anyone. My wife and I just got our CCW in AZ this past week-end. Although we've been long time handgun shooters. We have a new LCP, have shot 200 rounds with no functional problem. Neither of us can remember when we last "dropped" a handgun; so we're not too worried about the recall. A personal thought: Does any serious shooter really ever rely on a safety? My/our opinion is that the only really reliable safety is the connection between the brain and the trigger finger. Mechanical safeties, regardless of the type, are only a very poor back up for those who are forgetful, drunk or careless; and they shouldn't be handling a gun at all.
