make sure you check your local ordinances...I remember hearing somewhere that San Antonio prohibits locking knives (I'm not 100% sure so you need to check). That aside, my standard folder recommendation is for either a waved Delica or waved Endura from Spyderco. Stay away from the Kershaws.
I'd really recommend fixed blade as they are far superior to folders. The TDI's are a good little knife for the money.

If you carry in Condition 3, you have two empty chambers. One in the weapon...the other between your ears.
