That is a fantastic article. Her site is a must read and bookmark for ever woman shooter, and parent. We have been teaching all of those rules to our kids. My daughter who is now 5 has been handling the guns, unloaded, just like Kathy teaches. Whenever she asks we allow her to handle, unloaded, always, and take that teachable moment to reinforce gun safety. She said she didn't want to shoot yet, but would like a "pink gun, with rainbows on it" in the future. That's my girl!
