The danger of Lead exposure/ingestion for Adults is greatly over hyped.
The danger of Lead exposure for babies, toddlers, young children and pregnant females with yet unborn is very real.

A consequence of the environmental movement is that anything which doesn't have roots may kill you. This doen't only apply to lead, but to any other heavy metal. What they don't tell you is that to be toxic, heavy metal exposure must be significant and prolonged. The green wackos working hand in hand with the Brady bunch have tried to shut down ranges due to the lead thats been deposited into the ground. Just where do they think lead came from in the first place?

Whenever I hear the latest "sky is falling" so-called "study", I just remember a study I read about in the 80's that showed that apples cause cancer. Turned out that in order to reach carcinogenic levels, you would have to eat something like 10 pounds of apples per day for 20 years.

I can't find a reference for it, but in searching, I turned up this article that claims that Macs cause cancer. Now I'm glad I sold my son's iMac.
