You can't take "all guns are always loaded" too literally. In that case you could never clean your gun, because you're not supposed to clean a loaded gun. Oops.

It's just a way of remembering to take it seriously.

Umm, about placing the item behind the trigger? It would effectively be pushing the trigger forward, not back.

So I suppose cleaning guns is wrong too as you are inserting something into the barrel and more than likely sweeping yourself in the process especially if you are cleaning a revolver.

Anytime I post photos of my "chldren" they are always unloaded, and the proof is in the picture, see:

I also use a piece of soft fabric and something behind it to angle the gun in a flattering position. In this case it's a small tube of lotion hiding under that fabric backdrop.
I don't care for the look of something stuck through the trigger guard, to me it takes away from the beauty of the firearm, and we all think our "children" are beautiful, don't we?

"Could care less if I make anyone mad" but if a person was going to take a picture of one of their guns with something in the trigger guard and the gun was still loaded, then they are complete, total IDIOTS who should not be allowed to have anymore guns or oxygen to breathe.
