Calling All Jack Reacher Fans

Lee Child's latest Jack Reacher novel, Nothing To Lose, has just been published. This is the 12th novel in the series. If you haven't read them, you're missing out!

I love the series, but I thougth "Nothing to Lose" was the weakest so far. I just did not care for it too much. It got a little too political for my tastes. Still, a great series of books.

We enjoy the Reacher books, they're quick, entertaining reads.

His accounts of his time/experiences in the military in general and with respect to the military police in particular can border on the ridiculous though and makes for some painful reading.

+1

I love the books, but the author clearly has not a freaking clue what US Army Military Police actually DO.

(makes for interesting backstory, though)

Love the series, but I noticed one thing. Has anyone else noticed that Reacher becomes more incredible and superhero-like as the series progresses? Or is just me?

Another fan here. If I'm not mistaken, Lee Child is actually from the UK, so it's no surprise that he takes some liberties with the details of the US military.

Still, the books are great airport reading.

You have just given me some new reading material when I am at the fire station during those down times when we are not running calls or attending training sessions. Thanks Captain!

One of the best, along with James Burke, Roger Crais, Harlen Coben, Stuart Kaminsky, Steve Hamilton and Wilson's "Repairman Jack" series.
