XD SC 40. Also, I like the Glock 27, but for concealed carry I prefer the grip safety feature of the XD which requires force from opposite directions to fire, and hopefully prevent an accidental discharge. For open carry I would not consider a grip safety as much a necessity.

Rossi 38 special model 351. Have carried all kinds from the 1911 to the Bersa and everything in between but this I like best. It is small, confortable IWB, and reliable. Currently I have regular 158 grain +p in the cylinder but am looking for the best self defense 38 special round.

just switch to a P7M13 i had in the safe, for a dress gun but my everyday all the time is a Wilson CQB fullsize, the H&K is a backup to the Wilson.

Depends on the weather and my mood, but usually one of these: Springfield 1911 5" mil-spec lightweight, Taurus PT 99 AF, or an Interarms Firestar .40, love em all for different reasons.
