The slim hawg is an awesome gun. Smallest I have. Highly accurate, reliable, and attractive

I second mbj0186's choice. I also have a Slim Hawg and like it immensely. I considered the Hawg 9 initially as I am partial to the modern 9mm round. I however opted against it after holding it. The grip is wide, as expected since it holds 12 rounds in such a compact package. The extra width was not comfortable with my hands. I also handled the Slim Hawg for comparison and it felt just right, almost an extension of my body. Presentation and sight acquisition are very natural for me. The Slim Hawg’s accuracy is amazing for its 3” barrel. While it is heavy, the extra weight helps with the accuracy and recoil. I was worried at first about how the felt recoil would be on the small .45; amazingly it is noticeable but not unpleasing or uncomfortable. After an extensive and very critical break-in period, the Slim Hawg has found its way to my side, and conceals quite well even on my small build.

There is also a Covert Black Slim Hawg that is 6oz. lighter thanks to alloy over stainless. I personally have no experience with one but thought I would mention it.

Hands down, the Para Slim Hawg will make an excellent addition.

Can I ask what kind of ammo you are putting through your Slim Hawgs. My local gun shop has a couple and I think I am picking one up tomorrow.
