Mine seems to shrug off sweat. I do wipe it down with a RIG rag but still, it is exposed.

Also, contrary to most, I find the P3AT has less perceived recoil than most .380 pistols I've fired through the years.

Lessons learned from p3at:1) clean & lube it after each firing session.2) don't use Wolf ammo in it.3) firm grip.4) try a rubber slip on grip. 5) enjoy and hopefully be amazed by it.

I have a Kel-Tec P-32 which has the same grip as your P3AT. Once you get used to the sights and trigger pull, you'll love it! I have both of the holsters mentioned above and both work very well. The DeSantis Nemises is a pocket holster and the Uncle Mikes Sidekick #1 is for iwb. I also use Kel-Tecs belt clip. You do not have to remove the clip with either holster.
Lots of useful information can be found on these two sites: KTOG.Org - Kel-Tec Owners Group, (The Kel-Tec Owners Group) and The Kel-Tec Range, (The Kel-Tec Range). Enjoy your little pocket pal.

Safe and sane shooting everyone,

Do the fluff and buff on it first. Will help it break in faster and shoot smoother out of the box. Shoot the crap out of it before you trust it, at least 2-300 rds. My PF-9 had the hammer spring break after 50-rds and I've heard of P3AT's doing it too. If the spring's bad, it should break fairly quickly. IF the hammer spring breaks, you are dead in the water. Not good on a carry piece. My P3AT also had a barrel lug broken off out of the box. Been perfect after that was fixed though and I carry it everyday. +1 on keeping it clean. They don't like being dirty. Use a GREASE on the moving parts, not a light oil. I use Tetra Gun Grease. Pics of my broken KT's

My P3AT has been great. The man at the range told me to keep a strong two finger and thumb grip on it and it will be fine. I have had no problems with mine. He told me he sees people come in with them and they jam, once he shows them to hold it that way they have no more problems.

I carry mine every day in a uncle mikes pocket holster. I want to order a FIST pocke holster b/c it has a little thumb push on it to help with the draw.

get the belt clip and a uncle mikes pocket hoster. the small auto works better than the one that uncle mikes states is for the p3at. that way you can put in on your pants, behind your belt and/or just drop it in your pocket. do the f&b and run several boxes of ammo thru it. then carry it. i shoot my p3at about one a month(one or two mags). then i give it a good cleaning and it is back into the pocket. remember a p3at in hand is better than two 45's back home or in the car.

This is something that I did on my own so take it for what it is worth! LOL

I painted a small white spot on the front sight and two little marks on the rear sights. I have old man’s eyes and couldn't really see the sights as fast as I wanted. These little marks made a world of difference in aligning the sights faster. Not that you would use the sights for a close up fight but there may be a time where you may need a little better place shot.

It is the little things in life that means the most. LOL

Here's a shot of the .380 with the Bersa finger extension. the NAA extension also works...prevents limpwristing....shoots so much better w/ it. They're cheap available from Bersa and on Ebay.
