Walther P-22, S&W 3913, Taurus PT 945. Browning A5 (12 ga), and I only 'didnt miss' that one because I picked up a Benelli Montefeltro.

g22, never felt right in my hands. Tried a g19 after that, but still had that Glock feel and the feeling just doesn't work in my hands. They were both nice guns, and I have no problem recommending them, but they just didn't fit my hands right. No more Glocks for me.
I've sold a couple of other's, but have mixed feelings on them, so they don't really count for this thread.

I was more than happy to get rid of a PTR91 with collapsible stock- funky far forward charging handle, a pain to reassemble the bolt after cleaning and the stock would bruise your face up pretty good. Not to mention it was really hard on brass. Replaced it with an FAL

G-30, Jennings .22, Walther PPKS, AR-7, Marlin 60, S&W Mod 28 .357 that I traded a prewar Mauser 22 sporter for. I was glad to get rid of the Mod 28 not the Mauser. One of my worst deals when I was 18 years old. Young and dumb. Ruger heavy barrel .308 that wouldn't shoot smaller groups then about 4 inches at 100 yards. Tried crowning, glass bedding, free floating and nothing seemed to help so I traded it off. Ruger Mini 14 another sorry gun in the accuracy department. There are probably a few more that I've forgotten about.

Oh yea, I had an FN FAL with a Clinton thumhole stock where I couldn't reach the safety. The trigger was horrible.

I do not miss one Glock 36.
It was a true "jamamatic". I changed the springs, magazines and ensured I wasn't "limp wristing" it. All was to no avail. I sold it back to the "pusher" that sold it to me and used it as trading material for a 5" .357 Magnum Revolver. ![]() Biker ![]()

S & W 586 REVOLVER.......one cylinder was a little out of time.....from shooting it so much.....it would shave the bullet just enought to feel it on you face....

Sigma 40VE. Lots of good things about. The trigger was not one, however.

Jennings .22
I was at a gun show, couldn't find anything I REALLY wanted, the money was burning a hole in my pocket, and the Jennings was only $45. Sold it for $40 two months later. After about every box and a half of ammo, it started failing to feed, until I disassembled it and S-T-R-E-T-C-H-E-D the recoil spring. POS. Never again. |
