I think you made a good choice. I love the USP series of pistols. Out of all the pistols I've owned, the my USP .40S&W was the most natural pointer for me. I never experienced a single failure of any kind with it. I traded it off like an idiot, and I keep saying I'll get another one some day (although I am kinda liking the idea of a compact or a P2000).
