Help with my sites on my HK...

Guys...

so my HK shoots low. and i dont' mean a little low, i'm talking between 4 and 6" at 10 yrds. And it's not just me, the other pistols I'm shooting are just fine, and i hit the targets where I aim at them...

So...the guy teaching me my NRA class and I have figured there is something wrong with the sites on the USP. Can someone tell me how to get all this fixed? I'm currently using Trijicon Night Sites...

Bah.... any suggestions?

I bought aftermarket NS for it. they weren't installed at the factory, but were done by a smith...

Thumbs up It's Possible

That the smith installed the incorrect sights or front or rear.
If you check out this page (below) you'll see that the USP & Compact do not use the same sights.

Whatever...if your shooting that low then you'll need either a lower front or a higher rear sight.
Call Trijicon on the phone...talk to them...they are nice folks.
Maybe they can help you out somehow.

Shucks Jim - well, I hazard a guess it is more likely to be too tall a foresight. Hope you can get or make a substitution to cure that.

I found myself with the same problem. I got a set of Tru Dots on my Compact. I also have the originals as well. I measured the rears, at the centerline of the dots and found the factory sights to be set higher than the Tru Dots. The front sight was set at the same height as the factory one.. I guess what I'm saying is, to check your rear sight height, vs the original rear sight .. This will make the gun shoot VER LOW..

Thanks guys...

makes for some interesting shooting... i still have the factory sites, and i'll measure and compare the two sets when i have calipers to check em with (i have to either take the slide to the engineering building, or borrow a set of my friends.)

I do know that the factory sites were size 6.2....

I'll let everyone know when I figure it out.
