Pocket 9's
The springfield EMP and the CZ Rami are entertaining me at the moment. I have both a 75 and 1911 but only shot the EMP and it was very easy to shoot. I currently carry a 1911 and want to stay with single action safety, thing and especially lite weight. With that being said I use a 442 and have carried my dads 340 and there is a big different in weight, even with only three ounces.
I have thought about these two but the big things that keep me from them are -Weight, both are around 23oz a 10oz jump. -Size Anyone out pocket these two at all or are they iwb guns? |

The 2075 RAMI is about the same size in max dimensions as a S&W 442. Carried a 442, myself, for about 10yrs in a pocket holster. While the CZ isn't much bigger in overall dimensions (0.2" longer, about as thick, about as tall), it feels far bigger. Part of that is the weight, yes, but it's also, I think, due to the thickness along the entire length of the gun, whereas the thickness with a snubbie is centered in the cylinder.
The only way you'll know is to try it yourself. My pockets can swallow even a CZ P-01, which is quite a bit longer/taller than the 2075 RAMI and another few oz. heavier, but I wouldn't want to carry it (the P-01) there, ever.

Got to handle a rami yesterday. There is no way I could pocket that thing with my jeans pockets. It certainly felt larger then the Smith.

I've got a KelTec PF-9 and even it seems too big for pocket. I've done it once with kahkis that had decent sized pockets in a Super Fly holster. Still looked like an oversized wallet or something. If you have bucks, Rohrbaugh.

Both guns you mentioned are probably best suited for waist carry. You may want to look at a Kel Tec P3AT or a Ruger LCP in .380 for a small pocket carry pistol.

My pm9 Kahr works for pocket carry but i sure wouldn't want anything larger. I am also far to chea...ermmm frugal to fork over the $$ for a Rohrbaugh.

I just got rid of my Kahr PM9 as I trust a Revolver for pocket carry more.

I pocket carry a Kahr CW9, but I definitely wouldn't go for anything larger.

when you say you pocket carry the cw9 , do you actually carry it in your pocket? The handle seems abit bigger then the PM9 and was wondering how much bigger the two are and if the PM 9 would be too small?

Rohrbaughs are expensive but IMO are worth it. Untill you have one in your pocket its hard to belive how small a 9mm can be. It's nearly the same size as the LCP or P3at!
