Good choice, I really enjoy my Glock 26 which is similar in size to your XD 9 subcompact. You will find it easier to carry than your H&K USP .45.

i stated earlier that i looked at a couple of used guns at the gun shop. one was a s&w mp9 and a baby eagle 40. i liked both of those, but one of the considerations was obviously the warranty and extras that came with the xd for 100 more. the m&p was longer than i wanted and the baby eagle....well....damn it was heavy, but both in great shape. don't think i'll regret getting this sc. |

Excellent choice IMO. My EDC is a XD.45 compact, that I love. Yours is what, I would choose if I were to get a sub compact or 9mm back up. Seriously doubt you can find very many, if any better at twice the price. Post some pics. Get it to the range and let us know how she shoots for you.

Congrats on the purchase. I carry the XD40 subcompact on a daily basis and couldn't be happier. One thing I'd recommend would be the Pearce grip extension for the small mag...made a world of difference on mine.
Enjoy! |
