New guns are great!!

So, I walk into my local gun guy and after about 10mins of the normal "hey, how is it goin" "sure is muggy" chatter. He tells me he has something I may want. He walks back to his big safe and pulls out a little white box. I soon see that it says "Ruger" To make a long story short, I now own an LCP!!! $289 out the door. I ran 75 rounds down range before the light ran out. It really shoots great. This dealer is getting a new LCP every week. So, if anyone in OK wants one, shoot me a PM and I'll tell ya where to go! I'll get pics up as soon as possible.

[Napoleon Dynamite] LUCKY! [/Napoleon Dynamite]

I finally gave up hope of finding one and picked up a Bersa .380 (nickel and black)...Which is going to my wife as soon as LCP are more plentiful and I'm able to pick one up.

Congrats!! Post some pics!

If anyone wants an LCP, I can give them the email of the place online we got our's. They get them in frequently. $320 shipped...or buy more than one and combine shipping! Still lower than retail (330 I believe...)

You'll love the LCP...we do!

Zach and Holly, I just want you to know that I got the ok on the LCP because of the videos you posted. My wife saw Holly shooting it and being Hollys' size relized that it would be a good gun for her also. I have an order for a second one on the way.

Was lucky enough to be the first in my area to get an LCP and I love it. The little gun has already dispatched 1 cottonmouth and 2 water snakes. Added a little white paint on the front site and makes the site picture much easier to acquire.

All this talk of the Ruger LCP makes me want to get one.

I really mean this in the nicest way...

I hate you guys!

I like it and watch the video on the Ruger site. I noticed that the slide doesn't lock back when fired empty.....that would make me think twice about buying one....

Reborn, that is true. It is something I don't care for. The one thing that makes up for it is that the recoil is soooo much more mangable than a Kel-Tec, IMHO.

Maybe one for my wife and she can keep the wolves at bay while I am reloading........
