I have a 340. I usually practice with WWB 38's. I carry Magtech Guardian Gold 125gr .357's. I use a desantis nemisis pocket holster

With a revolver, I don't worry about "dirty" powder. I run Georgia Arms stuff for practice. Cheap.
I have a S&W .357 magnum. Model 60.

I use speer gold dot +p as carry ammo and use what ever ammo is on sale for practice. As for holsters I carry only two ways. 1st in a pocket holster and 2nd I carry daily with a holster from A Better Holster. It does take some time to get use to an undershirt holster but it allows me to carry everywhere while wearing a shirt and tie.

Thanks for all of teh replies-- I found the speer ammo and have a holster coming from bluegrass gunleather-- I also bought a blackhawk sherpa for paddele carry--

So far so good and I can hardly tell it's on-- Sure beats a duty belt!!!

I really like my bluegrass holster for the 642... rides just perfect and very stable. Let us know when you get it and POST PICS! I know it looks huge on me but I'm a little guy.

Guess I am old school,I still think the Winchester or Remington 158 gr.LSWCHP+P is the best load to run in these little guns.I practice mostly with standard pressure LSWC reloads.I carry my 642 in a Mika RB pocket holster.
