While the J-frames are considered pocket guns, I find them rather large for pocket carry except for maybe cargo or coat pockets. My Kel-Tec, on the other hand, just disappears in my pockets. Granted you don't like the Kel-Tecs, so check out some of the others mentioned like the Seecamps and NAA Guardians. You could also wait for Kahr's P380 which should be pocketable.

The J frames are nice pocket guns but I like my P3AT much better for pocket carry.I guess I just got lucky to get a good one.

I know there are some questioning it but I am very pleased with the LCP.

I love my Ruger LCP. I believe it's what Keltec might have come up with if they'd done a 3rd generation P3AT. I too find a 642 just a tad big unless I have on pants with larger pockets and heavier fabric.

When the Kahr P380 comes out, I'll seriously consider those. I have two Kahrs and both have been perfect and I like their design. If their little brother seems to be as well done I'll retire the LCP and/or pass it on to one of my children and move to the P380. I think .380 is an ideal caliber for pocket carry.

My KelTec P-3AT is perfect for pocket carry, but my S&W 617 also works well, too.

My Walther PPS works well for me.

I can recommend the NAA Guardian 380 if the weight doesn't bother you.
